Three days established by the United Nations General Assembly to raise public awareness on the issues of climate change. On Friday March 21st, Saturday March 22nd and Sunday March 23rd, World Glacier Day (in its first edition), World Water Day and World Meteorological Day will be celebrated respectively.
Alberto Pirni, professor of Moral Philosophy at the Institute DIRPOLIS (Law, Politics, Development) of the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, participates in the initiative 'Closing the early warning gap together' promoted by the Italian Air Force and aimed in particular at secondary school students. The event takes place in Milan at the PIME theater and sees the participation of university scholars, artists, representatives of institutions, content creators, physicists and meteorologists to reflect on the risks of climate change and on what behaviors to adopt to avoid complex phenomena.
Pirni's speech is scheduled for the session dedicated to water and the oceans. The title is: 'Water as an ethical challenge: the opportune and the necessary'.
